Killing Eve

Form

8/10

Having seen and enjoyed the dramatisation of Killing Eve, it seemed logical to read the book, picked up in a charity shop. Jennings writes in a confident and fluid fashion. The reader is immediately drawn into the story and into the minds of both Villanelle and Eve. I found myself dreaming about the work. That the story diverges from the TV adaptation is irrelevant—it is still compelling, and I look forward to reading more in the series.
