A truly inspiring work to read, told in an engaging, humorous and self-deprecating fashion. As the title of the work suggests, there are - with application, ambition, dedication, and perhaps a little bit of luck - no limits to what a human can achieve. Tim Peake's journey is a phenomenal one, from middle-class Chichester to being only the second Brit in space via multiple adventures in the army. Beyond the endeavour shown throughout by Peake, Limitless is also a fascinating insight into how varied a career it is possible to have in the military, as well as just the sheer amount of preparation and logistics (not to mention money) that goes into launching an astronaut into space. Seeing the world from this perspective, as Peake's excellent photos attest, is unique and humbling. As a reader, it is possible to experience an impression of Peake's passion. His legacy on Britain in hopefully inspiring a whole generation to contemplate the merits of space exploration (and more STEM study) will also likely be significant. Not rated.
